Belfast Families in the 1901 Census.Belfast Families has access to the 1901 Census for West, North and South Belfast. The details of the information available are listed below. Information relating to the Falls Road, Grosvenor Road, Springfield Road and part of the Shankill Road has been completed. There were 61,000 individuals living in 12,750 families in 463 streets in this part of West Belfast. The streets, popular surnames and analysis are shown on the West Belfast pages. The information relating to South Belfast (Lower Ormeau, Lisburn Road, Malone Road and Donegall Road) has been completed. There were over 62,000 individuals living in over 12,000 families in 401 streets in this part of Belfast. The census records for this area have been completed. There were approximately 12,000 families comprising 58,000 individuals living in 306 streets between the Shankill Road and Crumlin Road (West side). From September 2007 to December 2009, the families in this area of Belfast will be covered. There were approximately 80,000 individuals living in 440 streets between the Crumlin Road (East side) and the Shore Road including the Docks area. To date 21,500 of these have been recorded.
